Leg Stretches

Buttock Stretch:

  • Sitting on edge of bed/chair, feet flat on floor
  • Cross on ankle over opposite thigh
  • Keep back straight as you bend forward from the HIPS
  • Hold stretch for count of 10
  • Relax
  • Repeat other side

Hamstring Stretch:

  • Sitting on edge of bed/chair, feet flat on floor
  • Straighten one leg, heel on floor, toes pointing to ceiling
  • Keep back straight as you bend forward from the HIPS
  • Hold stretch for count of 10
  • Relax
  • Repeat other side

Calf Stretch:

  • Standing, face wall, arms length away, feet hip width apart
  • Step one foot forward, bend front knee, keep back knee straight
  • Keeping heels on ground, bring body weight forward by bending at elbows
  • Hold stretch for count of 10
  • Relax
  • Repeat other side
